Most popular/unpopular villager species?

What do you think is the most popular or unpopular species in the game? I think overall, cats are the most popular as a whole species. I also think hippos aren't very popular.
 
Popular: cats, deer, wolves
Unpopular: cows, bulls, gorillas, mice, ducks
 
Popular: deer, wolves, cats and maybe sheep ^^
Unpopular: birds, hippos, cows, chickens and ducks
 
Like the others said. Cats, Deer, and Wolves are pretty much the popular species around so far.

We can all agree that Cows/Bulls, Hippos and Gorillas are VERY unpopular. I hate the pigs as well.

Yup,those piggies are generally unpopular.I think the species with strong,prominent features...big heads,big noses,large size,etc.....are far less popular than those species that have more aesthetically pleasing looks but they still have their own fans here and there.
 
Popular: Deer, Cats, and Wolves.
Unpopular: Hippos, Cows, Gorillas, and Chickens.

I'm wild about most normal, peppy, and snooty dogs, horses, rabbits, koalas and squirrels.
