She's not that cute. Like, really? And Rosie is my fave. I know her eyes are creepy as hell, but ever since she told me about putting french toast at the end of her fishing line, I love her.

I had him in my first town (before I started using these forums) and I thought he was so ugly and annoying. His colour scheme makes me want to vomit. Too bad I didn't know how much he's worth here as when he told me he was leaving I time travelled past his leaving date faster than a buttered bullet.

Whoa, I second this! Had Stitches in Wild World too (first villager) and I really disliked him.

I would say Stitches but I had stitches in city folk before I ever even knew people liked him at all, and he really grew on me since then ahhh
But I would say Julian :/ like a unicorn is actually kinda a cool idea but I don't like Julian because I had him in my town before I reset because I won him in a raffle and he turned out to be a huge disappointment honestly
I also think both of the popular octopuses are super overrated because imo the octopuses are kinda gross
So is Merengue I guess? But she's cute in conjunction with Tia (who is super underrated)

Tia was massively popular not so long ago. If I'm not mistaken, she was top of tier one for a short while before everyone forgot about her.
At least you can get her for fairly cheap now...
Anyway, I agree with you on Julian. I don't see what all the fuss is about :S

Was Tia really popular? :0 that makes me kinda happy. I really like Tia but I've been absent for a while from the animal crossing community so I had no idea what happened

I'd say most cats as well, Lolly was the best disappointment, lol.

I dislike Lolly as well, she just looks derpy, and not in a good way. There's just something about her, she just looks too plain or something with her eyes? I'm not sure.

I also understand what everyone is saying about Marshal, so I had a look at him myself to see why he's my fave squirrel villager. I honestly think it's that tuft of hair and the cream colour goes well with the rest of his white fur. Something about it, it's very smooth and he just LOOKS fluffy, not all the other squirrels do.

I love Marsha. Queue “Marshal Defense Force”.

One thing I found about Marshal is that he looks a lot different on a 3DS XL screen compared to a normal 3DS screen. I had him in my cycle town which I use my old vanilla 3DS for and the screen is so small you can’t make out much detail, especially when it’s dark out. Forwarding him to my main game on my 3DS XL allows him to shine a lot more. It’s easier to see how cute his little details are.

Personally I think the cats Rosie and Lolly are overated (I don’t like Ankha at all because I hate desert/Egyptian things but at least she’s unique). Rosie and Lolly just have really really weird looking faces and mouths. It bugs me.

I'd say cats because everyone goes too crazy over getting cats but Marshal is way overrated. I have him and like him but he's not too special. When I first got him I didn't really like him at all but he ended up growing on me so I'm gonna keep him. But saying he's the cutest wittle animal is going way too far. I love Merengue because she's cute, pink, and food themed (perfect for my town) but even she's too much overrated. Probably everyone in my own town is overrated.

Probably Tia, Marshal, Julian, Merengue and Lolly. I feel like especially Marshal is overrated. I have him in my town and I love him, but there are other villagers that are more obscure that I like just as much or even more (like Bluebear, who is tier 4/5). I am not trying to offend anyone, but I feel like a lot of people are brainwashed by the popularity of a villager. I admit that I have probably also been influenced by the popularity list, but mostly I try to just get villagers I like.

PS I don't judge people who like popular villagers!
