Ugh, I hate to say their name, because I know everyone absolutely loves them but...
Ugh, Fauna.
Everyone likes her, and she is talked about (In my opinion) a little too much.
I really don't hate her, but I think people need to talk about Rosie, Bob, Ankha, and other mildly popular villagers more often.

Marshal, I agree he's adorable
but damn is he overrated
though almost all the tier 1 villagers are overrated

It's funny how we all know Marshal is overrated, even those of us who have him as a dreamie, lol.
I also find Fauna to be overrated. There are so many more cooler or cuter normal than her...

Well, I dare say most of the tier 1 villagers are overrated.
I either have or have had them all(except for Diana) and I do love some of them! But I'm thinking about trading them all for less popular villagers.
Skye is actually just a total sweetheart, she always stops by my house to visit. I love that about her!
And Ankha is just great, she's my best friend in the game and I love how distant she still is!
But Merengue is kind of boring. I'm really thinking of trading her for someone like Apollo, Dell, Merry or Pango!
Beau is not really my favorite anymore, Papi took that place after Beau moved out the first time and Julian is just a bit.. Too much of a glittering unicorn? I don't know, I just wish more people would appreciate villagers like Papi, Deirdre and Cookie. They are the ones I like the most!

Rosie, Zucker, and Stitches. Zucker/stitches have a school design, but it's just unappealing to me.

Even though I love him, I have to say Marshal. He's one of my dream villagers to fit my theme, but I might just end up switching him out because he's so overly used. :c
I also think Bob is highly overrated. There's even an entire Tumblr blog dedicated to him and is basically worshiping him, like seriously? o n o He's just a pixelated character??

For me, it's not about overrated. It's about experiencing a popular villager whom I didn't embrace. It's because the villager didn't deeply appeal to my senses as some other popular villagers.
I'm referring to the Lazy deer Beau.
He's very good-looking. But he's not a personal favorite of mine. And I can easily think of ten other Lazy villagers I prefer over Beau.

Marshal. He is one of my Dreamies, but it's hard to see why he's at the top of the list over other villagers.

The MOST overrated villager imo though is Beau. I could NEVER wrap my mind around his popularity. He looks more boring and plain than Marshal. Yeah he's really cute; in fact he used to be one of my dreamies. But after looking at a few screenshots I started to think that he kinda looks bland
Oh and Muffy's kinda overrated too, she looks awesome in fanarts but kinda creepy in screenshots.

I liked Muffy because she kept giving me stuff and selling me stuff, the day after she moved in. She was more interactive than my other villagers, and I hadn't had another uchi do that either.
That's why I liked her. I'm not sure why she is so much more popular than the other uchis though.
Frita is too, but I think that's because she is a burger and fries.
