I don't know if there is a thread on this already, as I haven't seen one.


Anyway, It comes out tomorrow for PS4 XB1 & PC and in June for PS3 & 360. Does anyone plan on getting it?

I preordered my copy of the GS Limited Edition and payed it off a few weeks ago, going to pick it up tomorrow after my class gets out. Probably going to binge play it until my friends come over on Friday.

I don't plan to pick it up for awhile, Nice lookin' game and I'm glad they upped the gore again, just isn't the same if it's not punishing for our eyes.

However the story mode is bogus, I'm watching it and it's just silly lmao.

It looks pretty cool, but I'm glad I didn't pre-order when it was on sale. Apparently the PC version is having a lot of problems. They wanted to try out a new feature to stream the download in the background while you play it, and it's not going so well. German players still can't download more than the initial 3GB, lol.

Guess I'm waiting for another really good sale. =p

The PC version is a mess right now and microtransactions are actually killing the hype. The game itself is darn fun but I do not recommend it to anyone. Rent it, share it with a friend or a family member (split the cost) and you will be fine. Or better yet, wait for the GOTY edition. Again, the game is fun and is well done for the most part.

Currently playing on Xbox One (I already have some experience in fighting games thanks to Killer Instinct).

I finished the story mode last night, I'm disappointed in the overall length of the story. It wasn't as long as I was expecting it to be, but the content showcased in the story I did like. The Shinnok boss fight wasn't as difficult as the Shao Kahn fight in MK9, but I'm not too dissapointed in that, as Shao Kahn did irritate me quite a bit with his constant dashing and hammer throwing, could hardly get any decent hits in. The graphics are a ton better than MK9, as MK9 looked like something from 2008 in terms of story graphics. The new characters are great, personal fav new is Erron Black. Sad that characters like Rain & Baraka aren't initially playable, I think they might be DLC in the future as you do fight them in story mode. The gameplay is A LOT less clunky than MK9s, it took elements from Injustice such as stage interactions, it even brought back things like running, which is fantastic. Minor issues from MK9 are fixed, such as the health bar lag in X-Rays are fixed, as in MK9 it the damage would be done prior to each impact in the move instead of immediately, now it's on time with each impact.


The microtransaction controversy thing doesn't really bother me considering you can get the coins that allow you to preform easy fatalities in the Krypt. The micro transactions are more so for people who can't be bothered going to the Krypt for the coins or can't input the original fatality sequence (which aren't all that difficult). Should they have left the micro transactions out? Of course, but does it bother me? Nope

Yeah. It looked good but this kills the fun 99% of the time.

The way it's going right now I wouldn't be surprised if they chucked him into a DLC pack in a few months. I was pretty upset about no Smoke. Pretty much mained him in 9.

I'd love to see them add a Xenomorph later myself. We're getting a Predator, so why not the Pred's favorite prey?
