More than 1 real painting at Redds?

So today is the first day I get to go to Redds ship and I was looking at the paintings to see which one is real. I looked up online and apperantly, I have not 1 real painting, but 3 REAL PAINTINGS?! 2 of the paintings are 100% genuine every time (mysterious and dynamic) and the other one is a real wistful painting. Is this new that there is only 1 fake or is this incredibly rare or glitched? I’m afraid to buy one bc I’ve never heard of this happening. Usually there is only 1 real out of 3 fakes. Please help!

same happened to me, i had 2 reals and 2 fakes and its also the first time i could enter his ship. maybe its only the first time?

There's no guaranteed of 1 real each visit. I had all fakes yesterday. It's completely random now.

i had 2 reals as well! i heard that it's most common for 1 real and 3 fakes but he could even have 4 fakes in stock!

my first time definitely only had one real painting. second time he came by all were fake. it's just random.

If you have more than one real, can you invite another player to visit and buy it?

you can def have multiple real art, or all fake art this time round. I had 1 real painting and 1 real statue when he visited.

Whoa wait its all random now? I must've gotten lucky today, because I had 3 fakes and one real. That makes it a real pain since you can only buy one of them at a time.

I believe you can. But unlike previous games, you can’t catalog art now, which sucks.

You can have multiple pieces of real art and likewise, Redd can come with entirely fake pieces of art. If you have more than 1 real piece, you can invite a friend over to buy the one that you did not buy but you can't catalog it.

You can buy art on a friend's island but not if you've already bought art that day. Me and my husband both had Redd today and both had more than one real painting but couldn't buy on each others' islands.

Same thing happened with me today, including 2 "uncommon" fakes. There's more than one version of a fake; in my case it was a third fake version of the Wistful Painting and a second fake version of the Graceful Painting. The other two were a fake "Las Meninas" and a fake "The Milkmaid".

i had 2 real sculptures the first "real" time redd visited.. i share an island with my sibling so it was nice that we could buy them both.

I think I had 2 real paintings last time Redd came. It's definitely been randomized since New Leaf.

In other news, it makes it easier for people to finish their collections if they're able to go to islands where there are multiple real works for the day!

It varies. One day I had all real, one day I had 1 real, another day I had 0 real. It's all luck honestly

I went to a friend's island to help her out and she had 2 reals.

My girlfriend had two paintings today that were genuine. I bought one and she bought one, so it worked out and neither went to waste thankfully.
