More PWP

Since I've been playing, I think I've had a total of maybe 5 of them suggested. I've tried the diving method. They always ask for new catchphrases, etc. will I get more suggestions if I build more or something? It's so aggravating because I'm wanting to layout my town, and I don't wanna build them later and have to redo everything.

I'd say keep trying everyday with a certain villager you want a pwp for. I did read that building more pwp's will help get villagers to suggest more.

They are frustrating to me too. Be sure to fill your pockets with flowers or shells. Do say you'll change catchphrases; you can just hit enter and keep the same one They won't care, and it gives them less to ask you about next time. I have heard it's good to go when there are few villagers out - maybe late at night - as long as they are villagers you would like projects from. They run out of alternatives faster I guess. One well-written guide I saw said to build or demolish every day, but I can't see a difference. I'm doing it anyway, because, well, money grows on trees! The rest of the guide looked good, so I throw that out. I just can't confirm it. Finally, one person suggested doing the ping trick while watching TV - just so it's not so frustrating!

As for laying out the town, I've seen people placing patterns on the ground so that they can get a feel for the space they need for a PWP and where they'd like to put paths in. Some put a small PWP there to keep villagers from building in the spot to kind of try to reserve it for a PWP. Good luck!

I was lucky enough to get a few PWP suggestions in my first go on a few days in my second town, but now when I try to get Muffy to ping me with an Uchi PWP, she always asks for catchphrases/nicknames.

Remember that if you're out for too long without talking to one of your villagers, they won't ping you at all unless you talk to them in which they will tell you that 'you should take a break'

Yeah, I just talk to my villagers once a day and I usually get three or four suggestions a week. Usually, they're for PwPs I don't want, though, like the Zen stuff or the oil rig. I think friendship level may have something to do with it.

I tend to use the diving method after I've finished all the things I like to do each day. I fill my inventory with flowers and watch TV or just browse through my tumblr until my timer goes off. The villagers do tend to ask for catchphrases and greetings a lot, but I always managed to get one PWP suggestion a day.

It's not something that will happen in the first few tries very often, but if you limit the prompts a villager can ping you about, then it's bound to happen sooner or later.

Occupying yourself with something really helps though. If you're more involved with watching your favourite show then you are with the game, then you can almost do it on autopilot. If you're not focusing on the game then you don't get frustrated if it takes a dozen tries.

I don't do the diving trick anymore as it's time consuming and boring to me. What I do is my daily stuff around town. I go look for fossils, water my flowers and pick any weeds. I just go on with my daily mayoral duties, usually I'll get a few pings on that day. Sometimes I'll get 1 PWP ping, sometimes I'll get 2. It just depends on how much time I spend outside running about.

Yeah, farming for PWPs is very irritating. I tried hard to get the illuminated projects, but I kept hearing stupid and useless questions from the animal that can suggest them (like asking me what to suggest about being too hyper). I find the peppy useless questions to be very annoying.

I've had Tabby (the peppy cat) in my town for over a year now and have the fairy-tale theme... really annoying, my fairytale town still has cobblestone bridges 

I started the diving glitch like 3 weeks ago, still nada


btw: the suspension bridge, that would be available from the start ? nope, not on my PWP list

Really? That's odd.
The only suggestions I've gotten were a yield sign, a brick bridge, a water fountain, and the police station.
Other than that. Nothing. Nothing good. -.-

I am a frequent resetter, about every couple of months I guess. I am working on my 9th town. I got a lot of PWP's suggested in my first town, and very few in most others. I thought maybe it was because I was writing letters to all my villagers every day in my first town, and talking to them each day and running errands. So, I am doing that again and I did just get the wisteria trellis and wind turbine this week. Maybe it's the letters and attention I am paying to my villagers, or maybe it's just random luck or the particular villagers that I happened to have.
