That's the most stupid thing I've ever heard, I'm afraid. This invention was patented in 2000... The Virtual Boy was made in 1995. :|STORMTROOPER88888 said:This does not have anyhting to do with it. This has to do with the Virtual Boy, which was his last invention for Nintendo. Since it was such a failure, he was demoted in Nintendo. By the way, he did not invent the DS.
He was responsible for the DS in the way that the concept of innovation he instilled into Nintendo thrived. :\STORMTROOPER88888 said:Yokoi Gunpei died in 1997.
Not directly, but he fueled Nintendo with innovation... The concept, at least.Mino said:Yeah, he died in 1997... he started the Metroid and Kid Icarus franchises and was a "driving force" behind the Game Boy, but I don't think he had anything to do with the Revolution or the DS.
i'm positive he had nothing to do with the revolution... nintendo said themselves they started work on it shortly after the gamecube was released... this guy died 4 years before that. >_>Mino said:Yeah, he died in 1997... he started the Metroid and Kid Icarus franchises and was a "driving force" behind the Game Boy, but I don't think he had anything to do with the Revolution or the DS.
"Same game, different look."SPORGE27 said:It doesn not necessarily mean it is related to the rev.
I have not seen anythng on the rev to make me think that there would be something like this.
Not to mention if they did have it, it would be an addon because do you really think all the old games could be played on something like that? no so it will at least need to be hooked to a TV sometimes.
