More lag during Bug Off?

Anyone else experiencing this? I feel like the game is way more jumpy and jittery all over my island than it normally is, but especially around my resident services building.

Yess!! I thought it was just me. Probably related to increased bug spawn? Interested to see if anyone else is experiencing this as well.

I haven't experienced any notable frame drops during the bug-off. Perhaps it may have something to do with bugs spawning a little more than usual?

Switched from console into portable mode and having much less lag this way. Weird.

It's been happening to me too! I really hope it goes away tomorrow because it hurts my eyes.
