More Crossovers?

If we got more crossover villagers, who do you want to see?

I really hope to see the Zelda, Splatoon, and Monster Hunter villagers return. But for NEW ones, ones based on Pyra and Mythra from Xenoblade 2 would be a delight!

That's a toughie. I wouldn't mind Donkey Kong villagers; granted I get there's one modeled after DK in the game, but let's face it it isn't him. You could even throw in a Kremling or two.

I’d honestly like to see proper Mario villagers based off of Tanooki Mario and Cat Peach, not just villagers that get called Mario-y names when they localise the GameCub game because they’re wearing Mario shirts.

(would also be a good way to add more Mario furniture into the game, just sayin’)

I'm not sure if that's ever gonna happen, but a Pokemon crossover would be really nice. I actually had some hopes at first that since we are getting some Pokemon news tomorrow they may drop something for NH too, just like how they did with Super Mario. But I guess chances are very low for this.

Otherwise, I would love to have a Kirby crossover at some point. I mean, imagine a pink hamster with red feet which represents Kirby.

I remember hearing word of the Sanrio coming back, but I didn't know when it would happen. It's awesome that they're bringing them back. I never had any use for them in NL, but it's nice to see the items come back.

Hopefully they do something with the Zelda amiibos and how you could buy Ganon bombs and the such. Maybe for the 35th Zelda anniversary. Which is this month. Makes sense why the update was so long this time.

i honestly just want more fun theming and different aesthetics so any crossovers that would lend themselves to that would be wonderful ;-;

I legit came here to say how much I would love to see a Kirby villager! And/or a King Dedede (penguin, obv).

Dreamland themed items would be popular, I think. Lots of cartoony stars and clouds... Pinks/white/yellow color combo...

I've mentioned this is a previous thread, but I still really would love a crossover with Toho's kaiju universe. Even if it's just Godzilla, Mothra and King Ghidorah getting themed villagers and items.

I would think about redesigning my island if they ever release Dreamland themed items, like imagine stars and clouds which floats like those blocks from the Super Mario update. Every single person who has a pastel themed island would get them asap, lol.

Also, I love the idea of a penguin villager for King Dedede!

Yeah having the Squirrel sisters back and the Zelda villagers would be the final touches missing. I never invited them to my island, but it was nice checking out their RVs.

honestly, at this point I expect to see the nintendo ip crossover ones back at some point. especially as the sanrio crew was by far the biggest unknown factor for returning before

In fact, thinking on it I'd like to see a Ghost Trick crossover. Make Sissel a villager or a variation of him such complete with that trademark red scarf, bandana, what have you.

I know for a fact we’ll get back the Zelda villagers; they were shown in the data mine, and seeing how the Sanrio amiibo made a comeback, there’s not reason why they wouldn’t return, ESPECIALLY during the 35th anniversary.

I would love to see some ANime ones. Especilly Sailor Moon. Usagi would make for a cute one.

I don't really care about crossover villagers, mostly because I already have my resident roster firmly set with the 10 residents I have on the island.

I'd be cool with them adding clothes and items from more Nintendo series. I'd totally hang a Binding Shield, Falchion, or Ragnell from the Fire Emblem series up on a wall or something. Maybe a Marth outfit, an Ike outfit, Edelgard's "crown", and some of the Heroes Relics from Three Houses or something.
