The last part of the MoonGlow Tours from outside is Southern MoonGlow. Three days ago, I said that both sides of the river, based on paths, plants, and projects, are like two different worlds. As I went over the north side of the river in the past two days, this one is about the south side of the river.
Coming in through the bridge from Western MoonGlow, you will make it to the western half of Southern MoonGlow, where the tulips are black and orange rather than red and white like Western MoonGlow and Eastern MoonGlow. When you first step in, you will notice a difference as you look at the paths and plants. It's blue instead of pink, and the lamps aren't even the same. This is what Southern MoonGlow is like. It may be far from Main Street, but it's closer to Tortimer's island and has the Café.
The western tip has the windmill plaza, which is surrounded by perfect apple trees, and orange and black tulips. The reason why I picked this location for the windmill is because it's along the coast. I wanted to make it look like a scenic coastline. The Windmill Plaza has three ways in this time. One way takes you back to the bridge, one leads you to Jordan's house, and the other leads you to the center path that divides Southern MoonGlow in both east and west. Jordan's house is right in front of the waterfall lake and next to the diving cliff. Based on where his house is located compared to the rest of the human characters, his house is the most isolated.
Between the western tip and the eastern half of Southern MoonGlow are these two paths. One can be accessed through Windmill Plaza and through the path of the wind turbine. The other can be accessed by going right as soon as you cross the bridge, as well as going through the path of Café Plaza. Both of these paths surround a block of orange and black tulips, with holly shrubs and perfect apple trees being in the middle. You can also see a street lamp along that northern path and a metal bench and park clock along that southern path. The clock and bench are path scenery as you go to Windmill Plaza, but the lamp is supposed to be along the river, and between two sets of perfect apple trees and holly shrubs.
Obviously the best part about MoonGlow. The Café Plaza was an idea I planned since the day I created this town. Kinda like the Flower Clock Plaza, except that there is a fountain in the middle, street lamps as the lamps, and an illuminated arch as the entry. This time, you can only access this area one way. You can hang out at the Café, as it has an interesting plaza in front of it too. This may not be unique in real life, but it is unique in Animal Crossing. In StarFall, Kaylee's house had the fountain and street lamps like this, as the Café is just along the strip between the rivers. But in MoonGlow, I made a plaza for it. Even before I created MoonGlow, I planned on having a spot where the Café has a plaza. You can see it here, by going through this bright-colored arch and around the fountain.
The rest of the eastern half of Southern MoonGlow is where Andrea's house can be found. The tulips are purple and pink rather than orange and black or even red and white. Towards the middle, there is a block of perfect apple trees, two street lamps, and a wind turbine along the coast. The path between both halves of Southern MoonGlow has access to the beach with only banana trees and the dock to Tortimer's island. East of that block, you can find two paths once again. One leads you to a row of three villagers (Aurora, Cube, and Sprinkle). For the longest time, Goldie, Stitches, and Rosie lived along that path. Now it's just penguins. The other path takes you to Andrea's house. The castle-like façade and golden exteriors may give you a clue that Andrea is the mayor, but that doesn't necessarily mean that. On the path between Andrea's house and the bridge to Eastern MoonGlow, you can see rows of holly shrubs and perfect apple trees on both sides. One acts like a complement to Andrea's house, as the other acts as cliffside decoration. Finally, from where you can see the waterfall, you can take that bridge, which will lead you to the lighthouse.
