Monster High Fans?

Does anyone else here like Monster High dolls? I'm an older fan (about to turn 25) and I love collecting the dolls. The webisodes are funny too. I like them more than other dolls because each character has unique head molds and sometimes even body molds.

Sometimes I customize too. I tried rerooting once, but it was so long and tedious that I'm not sure if I ever want to do it again. I also recently ordered supplies so that I can try my hand at repainting too.

I'm also getting into Ever After High dolls, but I don't like the fact that Mattel decided not to give them each unique head molds like they did with Monster High.

I also like Monster High, and I also collect the dolls! I'm a pretty big doll collector. I also collect Barbies and I recently started EAH. I definitely agree with you about the head molds. I've been thinking about customizing dolls for a while now, but I'm still a little scared. I got the Picnic Casket for 2 dolls a few days ago. Jackson is my favorite character, so I was pretty excited when I got him. I want to get the basic character dolls, but a lot of them are so expensive now.

I'm not a big fan of Monster High, but I have been meaning to watch more webisodes to see if that'll get me more interested. I do love EAH though, and if I had the money I'd collect the dolls as well.

I love Monster High, I just got into it over the summer! The webisodes are hilarious, especially volume 2, and the puns are fangtastic. I'm really sparking at the bolts for the new movie to come out! My collection is small now but I just got Picnic Casket for 2 at Toys R Us. I know that their prices will skyrocket on eBay so I'm really glad I could get them new. Speaking of high prices on eBay, it kind of grinds my gears when people charge hundreds of dollars for dolls like Holt. But yeah, Monster High is fun.

Anyone see the Ever After High?

I feel like it's the same people who do Monster High but I dunno. I just know they moved the Monster High stuff to the side at my store for the Ever After High dolls.

I'm 12 and I've never really been into dolls. But from the ages 3-9 I collected Sylvanian Families/ Calico Critters.

Yee. it's the same people. There's even a Monster High character that hangs out with those guys now.

Yep, I do. I have a thread on the Ables Sisters board for my MH/EAH qr codes.

I'm also a customizer, though I've only completed a couple really so far (I've got about 10 wips and a serious case of procrastination) here's two of em.

I love them for the high level of articulation (something severely lacking in girls toys over the years) and the detail put into them. And ever after high has a very strong storyline that I love as much as the dolls!

Has everybody been keeping up with the NY toy fair reveals? I love what I've seen on tumblr! Neighthan Rot (zombie/unicorn dude) looks cool ( even if his fashion is.. questionable).

Yeah, the detail is great. I think Mattel is adding a lot more detail to all their dolls now. Of course, they still have the usual hot pink glittery dolls, but the new Barbie Glam Luxe and Life in the Dreamhouse dolls are really nice. And I like storyline of EAH too. The Monster High webisodes aren't as good as they used to be (I liked the continuing story in volume 2), so it's nice to see EAH doing so well. I hope that when Frights Camera Action is out they'll release more webisodes.

I use to collect dolls, I never watched the shows because of the horrible puns. They won't stop using he word "Ghoul".. and so I painted them all into weeping angels and tape them to a blue tent that I called the TARDIS. Ahem off topic.

I agree, "Ghoul" does get a little overused. If they're gonna use it so much, I think they should stick with one meaning, not "school" "girl" "cool" etc.
