Money Tree Question

How often can I grow money trees? I know about the chance thing of them not spawning money when fully grown, but is there a time limit in how much I can grow? Somebody who visited my town a couple days ago shook my trees and I have to regrow some. ><;

Yes, you need the golden shovel. I have it

To get bells on the tree you can only plant one a day. I planted 2 using 99K and I got nothing.
Planted one and I got the bell tree using the gold shovel.

You can plant a regular tree using 1K. Less and you get a star on the ground.

Wow that's such bad luck, i'm sorry about the person who shook your trees that was a little mean of them. For money trees, i've never really attempted it but i'm guessing by what stitchmaker said it'll usually work if you plant one a day using the gold shovel. It would be cool to have a money tree in town though, since i'm lacking one and I just want to see what a money tree can do for me. But I guess a money tree kinda gives you the bells back that you put into it I guess?

to guaranteed that you'll obtain a money tree, you'll have to bury a 99k bag which i believe gives you a 90% chance of a money tree growing from the bag. it's not really profitable to plant one anyways, but if you like the look / want to achieve the 110 - 200 quota for perfect town status, it's recommended.

The money tree has a chance to spawn depending in how much money you bury.
If I remember well, 1k = 1% chance, 10k = 10% chance and so on.
The maximum amount of bells any tree may produce is 90k and it will bloom only once, so you're losing money by buring 99k ^^'
