in nl you can make a lot in a single night with the island bugs, and i remember having a hard time making money in pg but i haven't played in a while, so maybe i was just bad at it

So it's not just me! Thank goodness... XD I can't wait to get New Leaf, I love PG, but NL looks great.

I find it a lot easier in New Leaf. I enjoyed New Leaf more than I've ever enjoyed Population Growth (I actually turned on my GameCube today and check out my town). But with the island you can rack up some major bells in just a few trips. Also if you grow a ton of perfect fruit trees that'll help you in the long run. If you befriend the villagers they're also very giving(free items, free clothing, always asking for favors) that you can keep or sell. And if you play the turnip market right you'll be able to earn plenty.
