NOTICE: I DECIDED TO TELL AN ITEMS COMPLETE VALUE! JUST TELL ME THE ITEM! ------------Well, i decided to help people out that don't know much about animal crossing.
So this is my guide to item values.

1-------FIRST OFF, There are actually THREE types of different prices values.
there is: street price, catalog price, and there is shop price

every price value is different for an understandable reason. Now i will explain the values

SHOP PRICE: this value can be found by talking to nook in his shop about an item
EX: Bob goes to nooks cranny; clicks on the basic blue bed
When he clicks the item, NOOK says: that is the basic blue bed!
it is worth 125 bells! 125 bells is the shop price.

CATALOG PRICE: If you got to nooks, got to catalog, and order an item, it usually
will have a price to buy that item. NOTE: usually items are slightly cheaper or expensive in the catalog!
EX: Bob goes to nooks, goes to catalog, and picks out a blue bed.
"BLUE BED: 130 bells" he buys it for 130 bells
NOTICE: the price is slightly higher then the shop value. This may happen

STREET PRICE: This is basically selling items to other players for a set amount of bells.
EX: sally sells bob a blue bed for 250 bells
NOTICE: the street value is usually WAY higher then the catalog and shop prices/values.

THAT IS ALL I HOPE I HELPED
