hey everyone to update, i managed to get a blue retro dress and that was enough to pass! so one item does work if it's a dress I think 
Pudgey if you want the dress let me know. But if you think you have enough to pass the check then I'll keep it for when someone else needs something modern. That's a hard theme to pass without the right stuff.
