Missing Villager Issue?

Please help!!! Recently I invited an amiibo camper (Nan) and she moved in, replacing Pancetti. However, her icon on the map shows that the house is vacant and if I go to her house, it simply says "I'm not here right now". I have restarted the game, didn't fix anything. Before anyone asks, no, she is not anywhere on the island. Her icon isn't even on the map.

You said you restarted your game which means it saved with the glitched plot. The best method, as soon as you notice it would be to force close the game and time travel a day forward.

Trying time travelling a day forward to see if it fixes it. If not do you have another amiibo? You can try to kick out the glitched plot.

When you say "force close" what do you mean? Shut the game off without saving?

Yes thats exactly what it means. Before it saves just click home and close the game.
