So uh facts, here's one dolphin one and some other fun nature facts for free:
1. For several decades scientists couldn't work out where the Clymene dolphin went on the tree of life. It was soon realized that this species was actually a hybrid species created from an ancestry of striped and spinner dolphins, inherited traits of both. Hybrid mammal species are virtually unheard of in the wild so this is a very special case indeed. Although, some say humans may also be a hybrid species.
2. In eastern North America people reported unusual flickering blue lights while walking through desolate forests at night. This folk tale perplexed us for a long time before it was finally discovered that the blue lights are created by small flies. When approached these tiny dark grey creatures stop glowing, hence why it was so hard to work out where it was coming from!
