I am now waiting on my XL to ship , I am guessing Monday it will ship. I should be back to cycling on next Thursday/Friday. I will do my best to check on both town's whilst I wait but as such I need this battery full.

I undid all the screws on mine and I saw that the place where the charger was on the motherboard was a little off so I put it back in place(no soldering iron needed) and then put the back(plastic that was removed with all the screws)back onto it and now it charges perfectly.

I also did that but nothing happend , It's a problem with the unit

You could try buying a new charger and then opening up your 3ds again. In my opinion I would but you don't have to.
