Minor things included in update?

Noticed that when I stand next to something on a table, a bubble pops up telling me what it is. Pretty sure this is new, and will be very handy for people that leave their take one/leave one gifts on tables.

Anyone else find/hear about other little things like that?

i think this has always been a function with things on the ground! i often have it pop up when i shake trees and branches/fruit/nests fall out. it's super helpful, especially when cataloguing with friends :')

It's always been a thing for stuff on the ground, but I don't remember it being a thing for stuff on tables, hence the thread lol

The interest rate decrease I don't understand... The amount of bells players got was already low enough, now it's probably negligible.

If this was Nintendo having a go at time travelers they're certainly missing the point and it's only effecting people who don't time travel.

Edit: the bell bag rug we got is super cool though xD

Great. I'm one of the people that doesn't TT. And I've been keeping over a million bells in my savings to get something decentish for interest. They decreased it? Well.. yeah, now what's the point?

even as a time traveler, i wasnt trying to get money from bank interest, id get 99k everytime id try to get a certain villager out.
i've made most of my money selling turnips at my friend place by TTing back to Sunday and selling whenever they have a turnip spike (I've made a good 10mil this way) and I certainly don't think Nintendo is going to nerf turnip prices LOL
i think its silly especially since...honestly? in my opinion i dont think time travelers affect the game since its mainly a single player game.
i never Time Travelled in new leaf but only cause i was afraid to lose villagers lol

yeah like...if i wanted there are loads of ways I can still make money time traveling and tbh? i remember in new leaf my villagers talking about how ppl who visited me being time travlers and iirc there was a badge for time traveling? why does it seem to be so...shamed in new horizons and seen as "cheating" when it was more embraced in new leaf? lol

There was never a badge for it. I think the reason why more people are vocal about time travelling is because it's early game so it's more noticeable and there's more people playing NH.

Yup Its the 23 of April where I live thus Nature Day has started. Theres a new one for planting shrubs and one called "true friends" which I unlocked after returning a lost item. Not too sure what the requirements for it are though...
Im sure theres certainly ones to do with Redd too but no sight of him today for me
