I got banned again for sharing ****ING FRIEND CODES! someone said "does anyone wanna play ACNL?" and all i said was "I do!" and BOOM! banned this is annoying to me and why just why do this ****! why why why Nintendo! let us roam free and share whatever we want! I did nothing wrong! all i said was I DO! those two FRICKING WORDS!

sorry that happened to you, unfortunately we can't do much about that. it's upsetting how people can get banned for the smallest reasons on miiverse :-( have you tried reporting an unfair ban or sending them an email about it?

Sorry to hear that.
I wish sharing FCs wouldn't be so frowned upon by admins on Miiverse, but they put that rule in place mostly to protect children. Which is more silly because of the fact you have to be 13+ to sign up for Miiverse anyway lol

Woah, pretty harsh that you got banned on your first Miiverse Admins notification, as if it was a big deal.

Whoever reported your reply thought you would eventually end up sharing Friend Codes. Or perhaps it could've been the one who asked sharing codes with you baited you for an easy false report. Whatever the reasons they come up with, Miiverse Admins operates on "shoot first, ask later" basis, much like the flawed YouTube copyright flagging system. It's as if they don't read the content itself rather than the reports.

Yes, the admin notification system is far from being great. All it takes for you to get notified/banned by Miiverse Admins is some dude who report one of your posts for any reason regardless on how wrong it could possibly be, and it ain't easy to convince the admins that they were wrong. The first way to communicate them is to check the notification on the console you've first created your NNID on, hit "Send Message" or something and choose among three pre-selected messages. Saying that you didn't break the Code of Conduct rarely works because they lack common sense most of the time. I highly recommend you try this contact form (if you're from North America) and explain your situation to the rep.

sorry OP it sux that you get banned for stuff like that but it sucks worse that there's potentially creeps hanging around on Miiverse and that's what those rules are for.

there arent really creeps in the communites i play with.... i play Animal Crossing, Pokemon, Tomodachi Life, and planning to get Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate soon

if 40 year olds can prey on MLP, i'm certain creeps can play AC, pokemon, tomodachi, and monst hunter. creeps are everywhere.

Well, obviously you can't outfox them, because this is the second thread you've made about being banned for the exact same thing in just over a month.


Not being able to share FC's is a dumb as **** rule, but it's a rule. You can't break a rule then complain you got punished for breaking the rules when you knew you were breaking the rules.
