Might have accidentally rejected villager at campsite

Like the title says, I might have accidentally rejected a villager at my campsite. will they offer to replace another villager again?

you can always try again. this is a whole process though. for some reason i'm very unlucky, i have tried the whole night just so they'd choose the villager i want to move out. i know it's random, but how could i possibly get every single villager more than twice except that one i wanted gone?

You can try again, though I’ve heard it takes a while for them to ask to move in
