The Shure SM7B is probably as good as you're going to get for a cheap one. But it's still out of your price range. There's cheaper one's of course, but they might not sound as good. That might not matter for what you're doing though. Different voices sound better with different mics too.

i'm doing hip hop music. well jerking songs to be exact. and i mean i would spend around $350 for a really good quality mic. I just want to make sure that it will get the job done.

well i mean is it good for hip hop? i want a high quality sound. a mic that will make my voice sound good and clean, but that can also record some drum set and maybe some guitar

I'm no troll, I'm a person who hates horrible music. I also reject the label of "stupid", but if that descriptor represents the depth of your intellectual ability then perhaps you do belong in the popular music business.

this is a great microphone. someone i know got it and i gotta say their sound improved drastically, and it's so easy to use, just hold it up to your mouth and pull the trigger and sing!

But seriously. If you're going to be making platinum hip-hop records, all you need is a program called Auto-Tune 5. Microphone quality is irrelevant.
