Mice and Keyboards

For those of you who use a laptop, do you connect a wired mouse/keyboard to your computer because you hate using your integrated touchpad/keyboard? Or do you perhaps use a wireless/bluetooth mouse/keyboard because you feel more comfortable that way? How long have you been using your current mouse and keyboard?

I'm on a desktop, and I use this Wireless Keyboard + Mouse combo. Been using it since almost three years, and works flawlessly for me.

my school computer is a laptop and i just use the touchpad, it's just a lot easier than to carry around a mouse.
if I had a laptop for private surfing I'd definitely get a mouse, but i've got a desktop so I don't have to worry about that lol. Don't know what mouse I have, all i know is that it says hp on it :<

I had a wireless keyboard & a wireless mouse until I got tired of changing the batteries, esp if I had rechargeable batteries.

My laptop keyboard is not very quick at responding while playing video games so I bought a Microsoft SideWinder x4 when it was on sale for $40 instead of $180. Also use a Gigabyte mouse from newegg, it was like $15, not bad for a 'gaming' mouse.

Occasionally I use wired external mouse but am happy with integrated keyboard.

Whenever I use my laptop, I like using my wireless mouse for it. I feel it's more comfortable that way as I've been used to using a mouse on a desktop computer. One thing that annoys me is having to buy more batteries for it. I use a wired mouse for my desktop, though xD and a wired keyboard.

I use a mouse with it when I'm playing certain games. Laptop touchpads are just awful for that.


I don't really mind the touchpad the rest of the time.

I ALWAYS use my mouse with my laptop. It's a ?10 Asda wireless mouse and it's worked for me for about 2 - 3 years now XD. I just use my normal laptop keyboard, and I'm so used to typing and playing games on it, I think I'd struggle with a separate keyboard.

when i had a laptop i would switch between the touchpad and a wireless mouse depending on how lazy i was , haha : p

I use the integrated touchpad/keyboard with my laptop, but I use a mouse when I'm editing pictures, video, or audio. Also used a wireless keyboard when I spilled a drink on my laptop two years ago.

I absolutely hate touchpads from laptops. I rather use a wired mouse, or my drawing tablet.

I primarily use my desktop. Both my mouse and keyboard are wired and that has worked well for me for years and helps with gaming online (the lag time with wireless really isn't noticeable, imo, but no need to worry about batteries dying.)

If I'm using a laptop I prefer to carry around a wireless mouse as well. Touchpads and I have never gotten along.

I always use wired mice and keyboards when possible. Laptop touchpads are the worst, especially when they register a swipe as a click.
