Kojima said Blu Ray discs were too small...

Did you know that, the originally planned MGS4 didn't fit in a Blu-Ray disk?

They had to cut stuff from the game.

I don't know... I sense conspiracy.

Apparently, Metal Gear Solid 3 was 60% uncompressed music files, but my source is Sony fans at the Playstation Underground that could easily be talking out of their "buns."

I just can't imagine that the game couldn't fit on a Blu-Ray... unless it isn't using a full 50GB Blu-Ray. Or if it has day-long cut-scenes.

well.... it is Metal Gear.

This is probably like what they said with Resistance, how it "barely fit on one disc" and most of the files on the disk were just filler to make it look like they needed all this room. Metal Gear is a high profile game, like Resistance, so I wouldn't be surprised. Sony is milking this for all they've got.

I blame it to the fact that the programmers are just getting sloppy.... Back in the time you didn't have enough memory at all and had to work with what you could, squeeze code smaller

Then again they could be doing it on purpose, in which case they are making the kind of hype that ends in disappointment leaving a bitter taste n your mouth

Y-You know this is a joke, right?

Also MGS is the best series ever made, just thought I'd throw that out there.

Can't argue with the truth.
