Meteor shower problem

I went on a TT spree today, and one of the days Isabelle announced a meteor shower! I probably wished on 70+ stars, then I TTed two days forward to force spawn two of my rocks. My beaches were empty though :/ I need help because I did not just waste an hour wishing on stars

Unfortunately you did mess up You have to tt to the next day in order to collect the stars. I will say that the star spawn limit for single player with just 1 account is 20, so you don't have to wait forever to wish on all those starts next time

Yeah, unfortunately you won’t get those stars now. They’re only on the beach the very next day and will not be there the day after

You have to go one day forward exactly- no more, and you also can't go backwards at all. Otherwise you'll lose the chance to get fragments

BUT. The good news is you can always TT BACK to the meteor shower, make more wishes, then go forward a day- dates for meteor showers never change!

Darn, I don’t think the stars will spawn anymore, a similar thing happened to me when I visited someone’s island to wish on some stars, tt’d to the next day and got only 10 stars, and I forgot to log back in to NH to get the other 10 xD

Yes, for the stars to appear you need to TT only one day forward, if you go back or travel more days you loose them, and also, the stars will spawn during the day, so you need to visit the beach at different hours to get them.
I think when you wish for stars alone you can only get 20-25ish stars, and if you wish with a friend you can get 40ish.

i didnt know about the friend thing, may explain why sometimes between my 2 characters i find over 40 fragments

Each player character on an island you can get at most 20 wishes each. For every 5 wishes a visitor makes, you can get 1 star fragment up to 20. But in pretty sure this only applies to the character than hosting the online play.
