Merry Or Cookie?

I only have Cookie in my town atm but hopefully I will be able to get Merry soon...
Cookie is super cute, bright colored and she's a dog and I love the dog villagers but her eyes are like super big lol
Merry is also super cute and if I get her I will probably use her as my cat villager because cats are very cute too
Which one do you like better?

Merry is a lot cuter. Cookie (to me!) is one of those villagers (like Deirdre) who I don't have anything against but just find annoying. For no reason.
