Just have to say I love Tiger Lilies, they remind me of my grandparents. They used to have them behind their raspberry bushes. Fond memories of picking raspberries with my grandfather. Sorry a bit off topic.
I used to play a musical instrument. I remember when I lived in Toronto I wanted play an instrument so much but the program cost too much money so I never got to play. When I moved back here I fell in love with the flute. I played the flute from grade 7 all the way to grade 11 in highschool. I loved music. I took advanced classes and was in band as well. For Grade 11 there wasn't enough people to maker a proper band so my teacher said I am going to turn you into a jazz band. That was the year I learned to play the saxophone. Didn't like it as much as the flute. I was upset that the grade 12 music course was cancelled because there wasn't enough people. I won a couple of awards, which I am sad to say got destroyed in a flood from the upstairs neighbors. I stopped playing the flute when my grandmother passed away. My grandmother was so proud of me and it was hard to continue on when she was gone. Cant remember how to play now. My favorite song to play was Amazing Grace. My grandma's favorite. Sorry if that is too much. Thank you so much for the walk down memory lane. It was wonderful.
