I feel like I'm stuck in a villager rut and I've posted about this before.

I'm steadily working on getting my dreamies (I take breaks trying to get them because cycling out villagers literally takes me forever. My last try took me SEVEN hours to get the villager out to make room for my dreamie!) and while I have 1 dreamie left, I'm think about others...

Let me pose the question again: Do you have any villagers LIVING in your town that aren't dreamies and you just kind of let live there? They're cute but they don't really add anything to your game? I've had 3 villagers for the past 3 years that don't fit into my dreamie categories and they're perfectly nice but I think I'm ready to let them go.

Today one of them, 'Nana', pinged me to move and I honestly sat there for like 5 minutes and thought about it before agreeing that she should and then she decided not to. Bah!

Sometimes it can also be hard to think of dreamies you want too! Like I'm hoping to one day get Phoebe, but I think I'm also interested in Fauna... This is such a weird post LOL - sorry!!

not a weird post at all. I kind of feel the same way. btw fauna is the sweetest! I love her and she is one of my permies. anyways, I sorta feel this way about pecan. I think she is really cute and I like her a lot but I don't know if I will keep her as a permie yet. I'm not 100 percent sure who I want as dreamies either lol. I will keep her around for awhile because I still have 3 unwanted villagers in my town that I am waiting to ping me to move, so getting rid of her isn't really a concern at the moment.

I was that way with Bam for a long time just because of the sentiment of him being one of my first villagers. Now, I've gotten to a point where I cant really see myself letting him ever move! Also, figuring out dreamies is hard :( I think im just gonna let myself switch dreamies around when I get bored instead of getting super attached. Keep my interest in the game alive.

I felt the same way when Deirdre was in my town. I finally had the gut to let her go, and it was a good decision. Sometimes, even if you're hesitant, you should switch it up once in a while. It keeps the game exciting, for me at least.

if you are interested in fauna I have her in my town and I don't particularly plan on her staying ^^

I'm gonna leave a villager space for any villager from the campsite to move in. I want to experience more villagers^^ they wouldnt be permanent, just someone to experience

Prince is one I like but will probably let go since his house is in a tight spot. I used to make list after list of dreamies but I could never decide on a set-in-stone batch of 10 to have in my completed town, I love too many! I decided to let villagers come as they please and make them permanent if I like them (and if it keeps an even balance of personalities/species) so eventually I will have my permanent 10!

Pietro is kinda meh for me. I get he's popular and all that, but... He just doesn't sit well with me, but I still want him, for some reason.

EVEN THOUGH HE SOMETIMES MAKES A MOVE ON LOLLY.

..Ahem.

Sylvia asked to move three times before I finally let her go. I knew she had to leave, but she's so darn cute. I did the same with Pietro. There's just too many awesome villagers. I like so many of them. It's hard to let some of them go.

I feel that. Kidd parked his house on my most direct path to ReTail, which is a pain, but he's my only smug at the moment and I don't know, he's kind of cute.

I felt the same way with Fuchsia and Gladys! I finally let them move and even though I felt SO guilty, I feel much happier with my real dreamies. :)

I tend to feel that way when the original starter villagers ping to move. They are perfectly nice, some I have fallen absolutely in love with, but for the most part, meh. Then I feel guilty letting them move. I always feel it was their town first, you know?

I have the exact feeling with several villagers. Esp Kyle. I moved him out thinkin that it might be nice to have someone else replace him but then I took back the same Kyle again because I missed him.. but only to move him out again.

It's definitely a sad thing, I wish ACNL could keep these kind of villagers away in another small town that I can visit whenever I missed them.

I have a few villagers who are actual dreamies. The other 3/4 will move as and when, they're move place holders who I find cute.
I just had to settle on some villagers to remain for a while as I was so busy swapping and changing I never got much else done. I'm pretty happy at the moment as I'm waiting for the update to come out to see if there's any villagers I'd like to replace my none dreamies with. I don't really like to stick with permanant dreamies anyway really, I like to have a change every once in a while. My lovely Skye or Julian will probably leave at some stage
