Medieval Town Theme?

As the title states, I'm considering to turn my second town into a medieval/historic town. My town's name is Palacio which is Spanish for palace and I recently got Ankha (Snooty). I'm interested in Sterling (Jock) and Knox (Cranky) as the knights and am considering Flora (Peppy) since flamingos were important in Ancient Egyptian and Moche (Peru) cultures. Maybe Lucky (because duh), Drago (Eastern Asian house + dragons signify wealth/power), or Clay (currently have him in town and his design/house gives off ancient vibes) as a Lazy but since there's 8 personalities, I'm willing to have 2 Lazies. I'm wondering if there's other villagers that also fit the bill?

As for PWPs, I could go for the pyramid, Stonehedge, Fairy bridge/bench/town hall and build gardens throughout the town to give it that look.

The only problem is that my mayor's name doesn't fit the theme but I could easily change up my house.

Since my first town is already a very specific themed town, I was originally making this town more relaxed but I'm almost done with my first town so it's kinda tempting.

Any advice on other villagers to look out for? I'm hoping to balance out the villager personalities. Any advice would be appreciated. <3

Prince the frog perhaps? Or Julian as for the medieval mythical creature? Del for the crocodiles in the Nile River? Klaus looks pretty Roman... Ankha would fit with Lucky

Pekoe could definitely fit in town! She looks adorable and her house gives off a royal Eastern Asian look. And Vic sounds pretty awesome tbh! His house being pirate themed and looking like a viking could fit as well. Thanks! :3

Aww, Prince looks adorable but sadly his house isn't the vibe I'm looking for. Julian is a possibility for representing Gallileo or scientific discovery and Klaus's house fits the bill. I had Klaus in my other town briefly and didn't like him all that much but I do admit his house definitely fits. And that's a great point about Del! I looked at his house and it looks way too futuristic to fit the town sadly. And thank you! :3

Seconding Elvis, Vic, Ankha, and Klaus.
I guess Rory is also a good option if you're not interested in getting Elvis, since Rory is also a lion though he has a different personality type (jock instead of cranky). Rory has an exotic/fantasy-looking home and he looks like a fiery lion. For an uchi, I suggest Phoebe or Paula. Phoebe is a phoenix, while Paula looks like she could fit in to a medieval/feudal setting if she changed her default clothing into an outfit appropriate to the theme (gold plate armor?).

I looked at Rory and he seems interesting. I do agree Elvis fits the bill more. Paula looks cute but her house doesn't fit what I'm looking for at all. ^^; I'm changing the interiors of my villagers in my first town and that's been a very painful process so I'm hoping to avoid it with this town. XD I do like Phoebe as a possibility for an Uchi, though! Her house can be interpreted to fit more of the rich theme and being based off a Phoenix can fit the town. Thank you! :3

I'm also looking at Muffy to represent the gothic architecture and her house gives off an old school vibe. I think her or Phoebe can fit the bill!

Oh man, if only the game allowed more than 10 villagers. I'm liking the possibilities of a lot of villagers suggested. XD

Julian, Drago and possibly a lion (not sure of names) Dragons and Unicorns are mythical, and lions are used as Royal symbols.
