Resident Night Mare
As I was running around in Salem this morning, I noticed that Leif had left his post outside my house. In fact, once the shops opened up, he was back at work, so I was able to purchase a sapling and bushes from him. Maybe he's given up on me as a lost cause. 
While I was watering the few flowers I have and digging fossils, I found a mitten. After checking with a few villagers, it turned out to be Dizzy's. Time to put those away now, Diz.
Mathilda wanted something new for her house. I had ordered a couple of items from Emerald's house, so I decided to give her the paulownia closet.
Hazel asked to come over. We scheduled a time for that. Actually, after the whole cockroach thing yesterday, I was surprised she wanted to come over again. Oh, what short memories these villagers have! While I was waiting, I stopped in to see Beardo. He asked me to deliver something to Hazel because he was too shy to do it himself. Please tell me my bear isn't crushing on that unibrow squirrel! It turned out to be a mint ginham tee, which honestly looked pretty good on her - it matches the color inside her ears. As thanks, Hazel gave me an apple. Because that isn't like it's the native fruit of Salem, so I can't just go pick several baskets. Thanks a lot.
I kind of rushed Hazel through her visit. It was nothing personal, just that there was a lot to do. I really wanted to question her about that present Beardo sent, but I doubt it would have done any good.

Really? Why would that be funny? I do have to admit that he had good taste in sending her that top, though. Regardless, I'm keeping an eye on her.
I've also decided that, much as I hate moving a villager out and worrying about where a new one will put their house, I'm going to let Rocket move out, next time she pings me. I got her pic a long time ago, so that isn't an issue. She isn't my only Uchi (Unibrow Hazel is, as well). I'll have to keep an eye on the campsites for Salem and Hollowyn and see who comes through. Maybe another Lazy, to pair up with my Dizzy. Cross that bridge when I come to it. Either way, Rocket needs to go. The other one who might is Peggy, but I do like her. Too bad Bonbon built her house right in the way of where I wanted to put my bridge!
Dizzy asked to come visit, so we set the time. I love having him come to visit. He said nothing but nice things about my house, although he did make the usual comment villagers have about my basement - nothing up on the walls.
After he left, I popped into Town Hall. Isabelle was sleeping, so I was able to get the Dream Suite added to the list of PWPs. When I went to request it, she said that everyone was waiting to celebrate the completion of the statue fountain, first. I had completely forgotten that I never did that. Since I'd made everyone wait so long, I agreed to attend. Then I started collections for the Dream Suite. It won't be used much, but at least I won't have that boarded up building on Main Street anymore.
I figured I'd take care of the other characters' houses, since it was still early. They all have smaller homes, so it took no time to get rid of the bugs (I've always hated that part of the game), and when I saw the severe bed-head they had, decided to give them all new hairdos. I kept the colors, but now Sabrina has a great banged bob in white, Tabitha is sporting a high ponytail in dark blue, and Theodora has a simple hair style in... dark green, of course.
Once that was done, I decided to call it a night.
