Has anyone else used all 8 inclines and bridges? If I do as I plan to with my town, I will use all 8 inclines, but it feels like either its not enough or 'am I designing this poorly that i need a lot?'
I have not reached max with bridges yet but it is getting close.

Does anyone else have maxed out bridges/inclines? I'd love to see maps cause its cool how some people use them.

Also for diagonal bridges, how did you put paths? Since you cannot make diagonal paths.

I only have 2 bridges and one incline, because I've been pretty conservative with them. I want to have my entire layout figured out before starting with inclines and bridges, to make sure I don't run out. I have land bridges for the time being that get the job done. For example I've seen people use up 4 of the 8 total inclines just to make a museum entrance, not saying that's your case but that seems to be a problem for some people, where they are over-ambitious with them.

For diagonal bridges I use custom stone paths or wooden planks, or make a checkerboard pattern combining several default paths.

I'm currently sitting at six bridges and six inclines, and I do plan to use the other two, but I'm holding off since I feel like I might want to switch things up on my island.

Regarding diagonal paths though, I saw this on Reddit, and I was actually inspired by it!

I have maxed out my inclines but I haven't maxed out my bridges yet. I feel like 8 inclines is definitely not enough for me!! I actually wouldn't need as many inclines if I didn't choose to put two inclines going up to my museum for symmetry but it is what it is. I also have an incline dedicated solely for Freya's house and another incline dedicated to Hamphrey's house. My island is very hilly and natural so I like random inclines going up to spots that don't necessarily connect to other parts of my island.

I have one incline for my museum :D I just have multiple inclines for my back area (my house, museum, villagers, orchard), one for my farmers market (cause i thought it would look cool on a cliff) and I may place on on this weird cliff i build that idk what I will put there (have a few ideas but idk).

My island feels so basic/underdeveloped (I’ve barely touched terraforming and just kinda been winging it with no overall plan). Even with my minimal efforts, I’ve already used 6 out of 8 inclines, which seems like a lot? Not really sure where to even go from here because I feel so restricted >.<.

i have been demolising inclines left and right realising i dont need them! maybe if u give it some more thought you’ll realise it too? tho i know it can be frustrating that 8 is the max! i wish we could get more sigh!

I've yet to finish building all my bridges and inclines but with how I have it laid out, I'll need to max both. I wish we could have 2 more of each.

omg!! thats so beautiful, looks like braided hair!

one of the ones i want to build i dont need as i have an incline like 6 tiles away but it would look cute in the orchard and aesthetics lol
I am winging it as i go with my island.
If i didn't want my museum to be part of a archaeology dig site, i would have it on a lower level. But then i cant have holes in the ground.

I currently have 7 bridges and 8 inclines. I had to demolish a bunch of inclines when I changed my plans and made a residential area.
I'm happy with my inclines, but I've been holding off on demolishing and changing the bridge type.
I have the bells for it, but I don't time travel and I don't want to demolish the bridges I use every day!

Wait what's the max for all projects? I thought it was 8...

I haven't maxed out yet, but that's because I can't decide how best to use my final two inclines. I feel like I need at least 9 or 10!

Bridges not so much - I've narrowed the river in parts so I can jump over, or put a stepping stone in. Only problem is you scare the fish away sometimes.

Yeah i get that. Bridges aren't as bad, but Iliek having multiple ways to get up to higher ground haha.
