Max Villager Cap announced by IGN

Ah, this kind of sucks. I was really hoping for at least 12. At least now I that know for sure I can properly plan out which villagers I want.

I figured this would be the case. They like the number 10 these days and with the ability to have 8 humans on an island (a kind of ability Nintendo will WAY overestimate being used at all) I figured anything over that number would be wishful thinking.

Ah well. 10 it is.

GameCube had 15 max and I think it’s very sad we haven’t been able to reach that height since then oh well

Wild World and New Leaf I understood because of technical limitations, but there is literally no reason for it to still be 10. 10 is not enough for me. I want 15, but would have been fine with 12.

I don't want 8 human villagers. Let me use those slots for villagers.
