Marshal when he's thinking

Ok so when I talk to him too much he goes into thinking mode and says stuff like I wonder if I should get fauna red roses or maybe a pear....

Am I really weird for wanting to get fauna the normal deer to crush on my second male villager to get marshal to back off?

Has anyone else had characters that do that?

Hehe! That happens whenever you talk to a smug villager too much- they'll say that about the girl villager they like most :3 In my town, O'Hare likes Carmen, which makes me super happy ^u^
