Marshal vs. Julian for a smug villager (or other suggestions)

I have Marshal as my smug. I find he is someone I don't care about that much. I think the fabulousness of Julian may be better? What do you suggest as a smug villager?

Well I think Julian may be a better representation for myself even if I'm a guy. But if there's better suggestions I'm all for them.

Also Marshal is pinging me to move so I'm trying to figure my AC life out.

based on which villagers you have atm, i'd say keep marshal as he will look visually pleasing along with the rest of your current villagers. but if you don't want him anymore, then i'd say you should just go with julian if you feel that way. c:

Ugh I know. I told him not to move. Now I'm thinking about what normal to move since I have 3. The problem is I have Fauna, Molly, and Maple.

I'm not a fan of smug villagers, but I like Marshal better than Julian. I think Julian looks strange. LOL

The fabulousness of Julian! He seems more gentlemanly than Marshal to me and he currently lives in my town. I just imagine him to be like the prince of my village.

Like SailorCrossing said, Marshal seems more.. Well, smug and rude than smug and nice for some reason. I also like Julian better because, well, he's a unicorn. C'mon.

Also, you could get a good deal for any of those normal villagers so I'd just sell whichever one you don't like/don't want.

From those two choices, go for Julian. He's gorgeous.
For a third option maybe consider having Shep, Kyle, or Chadder instead. They're cool.

If you don't care about Marshal that much, I'd say totally ditch him.

I love Julian; he reads very gentle to me, when you mix his aesthetics with the smug personality, and he's got those great light blues and starry motifs. And unicorns are the raddest. If you want to try out Julian, I'd 100% recommend it... But most of all, I'd recommend going for the smug that makes you happiest to see.

I quite like both of them, though I've never had either of them before. But if you really don't care about Marshal, I suggest kicking him out. That's what I did with villagers like Flurry and Fuchsia, who were villagers I didn't care about. It's always better to have a villager you like in your town than a villager you don't care about.

Julian is AMAZING! He is the perfect smug! The only reason I don't have him in my town is because I've had him in so many other towns and I wanted to try someone new. Julian definitely gets my vote! :>

If you want to switch Marshal for Julian then you should do it. I had both in my town and I loved them both, but Julian has the better design since he's a unicorn. You can't go wrong with either or tbh.
