The answer to the riddle is.... The man only has one eye and the tree only one peach. The key was in the plural usage of the words.

Counting up those who entered and traveling to random.org

Here are all the entries:
1-HoneyBunny
2-AutBird
3-Tangerine
4-Nintendumb
5-Sid2125
6-ACupOfTea
7-Stinxasays
8-Calintz
9-TheCreeperHugz
10-MrKisstoefur
11-A Legend
12-Marii

- - - Post Merge - - -

And the winner is Nintendumb!!! If they don't get back to me within 24 hours, the next winner is ACupOfTea. After that, Marshal runs the risk of being voided so he would go to the first person who replies with dreamie proof. Yet again, Nintendumb has 24 hours to get back to me. If they fail to, ACupOfTea has the following day to claim Marshal. I hope you all enjoyed the riddle. Next up in my riddle giveaways will be Rosie

A really cool and interesting idea kudos to you for making this thread for people to win their dreamy! Also congrats to the winner! (haven't checked who won yet)

Question though I don't understand how that answer works. The riddle says a man without eyes meaning regardless of whether or not he has one or two, he still has none so I don't get how that would work? Is it referring to a different man or something? :3

Congrats Nintendumb!

The man doesn't have eyes as in 2 or more but he does have an eye. Same with the tree. It's more of a lateral thinking puzzle, the dreaded foes of the grammar nuts. I have a few others but mine are mostly murder mysteries... This riddle was one of two that were recommended to me in my last giveaway and I thought this one was the easier of the two (I didn't make it up but I credited to the person who recommended it to me) xD

I'm planning to do this with most of the top 2 tier villagers I get, the only exception is when I need a particular set or villager but never for bells.

Also, if you have any riddles you would like to see used please PM them to me :) You will be automatically entered into the giveaway if the villager is a dreamie of yours. Currently I have Rosie and (maybe) Wolfgang that are up for future riddle offs. The list is constantly changing but I might add a section to my profile with all the future giveaways. ~Best of luck on your hunt for dreamies~

It says that he is without eyes, meaning he doesn't have more than one, but it doesn't mention him being without an eye, so he can still hav one, just not two.

Congrats Nintendumb

Edit: lol, Ninja'd with the explanation

Huh ok well I just learned something new today then. I thought when you used a plural form it's understood that applies to both singular and plural. Now I know I guess lol, thanks :P
