Marshal or Genji?

Hello!
As you all know, you can have 10 villagers as a maximum in your town. Unfortunately, I've got 11 dreamies.
I've got 8 dreamies in my town already, and I know for sure that I want Beau, so he will be my 9th villager.

But, I'm not sure about Genji or Marshal. I want both of them, but I'll only have 1 spot left. Who should I pick?

Then I'd probably go with Marshal, since he's a smug villager, and I really don't care about the PWPs that sporty villagers come up with (they don't fit in my town).
And I like short villagers.

I have both and I love them both. Since that's not an option for you, my personal presence is Genji. I just love how funny he is and he has such adorable facial expressions. It sounds like you have more pros for Marshal, though. He's also lovely, I just find Genji edges it for me because he's so interesting and I love his house. If you're in need of the smug pwps Marshal is probably a better option for you

Genji was actually was first ever dreamie. I don't usually think about the PWP stuff when I decide what villager I want, I just get them because I like them. I fell for Genji because he is such a cute bunny, and it's sad that I don't have any space for him now.
Unfortunately in this case, I had to look closer on the pros and cons on both of them like Shatto suggested, and Marshal is the "better" one, for now.
But if I ever accidentaly void a dreamie, I'll definitely go look for Genji next.

I have Genji in my town. He's one of the only Jock villagers I actually like, and I like having a mix of personalities in my town so things don't get too repetitive. However, if you don't like the Jock PWPs or the personality in general, I'd go with Marshal.

I'm not even sure who Genji is, but Marshal is absolutely my fave above anyone else, so... no way I would ever choose somebody over him

I'm all about the PWPs.
If you do the diving trick or other system of your choice and get all the PWPs for all types, then it's about dreamies.

I know someone here posted that they got all their dreamies and then wanted a PWP from a jock (most people on here don't seem to like jocks). They ended up giving up on their PWP idea and had wished they had a jock when they first startled because now they have all dreamies and couldn't let anyone go.

Get your PWPs! Besides he's kinda cute.

I have Genji in my town and I think he is cool. His house is also pretty. The jock personality is just kind of annoying in this game or else I would have more jocks in town. I never had Marshal, but I might try to get him at some point since the squirrels are cute.

Almost everyone on this site has Marshal already and I don't see Genji much, so there's that. I'd go for Genji if you want your town to be a little different from everyone elses.

I would go with Genji for the time being since he's your first ever dreamie. If one of your other villagers gets boring, you can switch them out with Marshal later. It happens!

I'd say Genji too! I had him and I loved him so much. I was absolutely heartbroken when he moved because I carelessly TT'd. I didn't really want to do the 16-villager-cycle either. Yeah, go for Genji. His design is really neat!
