Giveaway MARSHAL—Adoption Completed [04.24.2014 @ 07:10 p.m. ET]

In my second town, Progress, the Smug squirrel Marshal has pinged my Mayor Cameron for a move that is scheduled five days from the game date. (I'm okay with it. And I can gradually TT in one-day increments as necessary.)

Marshal's clothing and his house are at least 90 percent intact (from original).

Along with awarding adoption, free of charge, I will give the winner a copy of a picture of Marshal. (Whoever wins should not let me, or let himself/herself, forget about the pic.)

The way I want to handle this "Giveaway" is to take applications for Marshal.


Here are the requirements:

1. Please list for me your current cast of villagers for the town in which you want to adopt Marshal. (Actually list them rather than directing me to check out your signature.)

2. Please update your Dream Address, specifically for the town in which you want to adopt Marshal. I will visit it. And I want you to have your Mayor greet me as I visit with a message that specifically addresses me. (My suggestion: "Hello, Candy83!")​

Furthermore?

I will consider no more than the first [20] individual, qualifying applicants.

I will not consider anyone outside The Bell Tree Forums; meaning, I will not consider an applicant who is not registered here at The Bell Tree Forums?not even if there is a forum member willing to act on his/her behalf.

An applicant must have a minimum of [10] Wi-Fi Ratings (positive) and was registered at The Bell Tree Forums no later than April 15, 2014.

The deadline for applicant submission is Wednesday, April 23, 2014 @ 09:00 p.m. ET.

At some point on Thursday, April 24, 2014, I will nominate five applicants. Those five will be the finalists. And I will announce them in this thread.

I will announce the winner of Marshal no later than Friday, April 25, 2014, at 10:00 p.m. ET. (If my review of applicants comes along quicker, I may do it sooner in the day?that same day.)

Adoption procedure of Marshal will be worked out, thereafter, between the winner and myself.

I'm planning a giveaway, so my plaza is full of items, pardon the mess. And while I have joined earlier than your provided date, I'm not exactly sure how you make your "wifi rating" go up, so I think mine is still 0. I can assure you though that my connection is excellent, I've never had a problem with villager or item exchanges :3 Marshal is my last dreamie so I'm hoping everything works out!!!!

The other ones are not applicable because they haven't met this stated requirement: "An applicant must have a minimum of [10] Wi-Fi Ratings (positive) and was registered at The Bell Tree Forums no later than April 15, 2014."

For anyone with a lack of the ten [10] Wi-Fi Ratings, but who has met the qualifying date, you can make use of the remaining time to generate the necessary Wi-Fi Ratings.


As a note to those with less-than-tidy towns: That condition will not influence my decision. One can change that. On the other hand, one can also take a neat-and-sweet town and turn it messy. Therefore, it would not make sense for me to get concerned about how nicely or messily one's town appears.

As of Post #07, I have two.

The words "over 10 wifi ratings at 100%," are incorrect. That would say that one has to have at least [11]. No. Having reached [10] is it. And one does not have to have a 100-percent positive rating. But one does have to have 10 Wi-Fi ratings that are positive.


I also want to add this: Puffifish wrote, "Numbers are not allowed for the greeting, so I left it at Candy."

That is fine. The point is that a greeting, when I visit in the Dream Address sequence, will let me know the applicant brought his/her Dream Address up to date. (The date one finds at the Train Station's bulletin board reflects the game date but not so much the actual date.)

The host of this giveaway/contest is just giving Marshal away for free to the winner and one of the requirement is that the contestants should have a minimum of 10 ratings. Nobody is paying anything so if you don't agree with the terms then don't enter.

Darn I've only ever traded with one other person on here, when I won Rosie in a giveaway, and they didn't give me a rating, I mostly deal with Facebook and reddit. If I post links for successful trades I've been in will that count?

I have no problem with your expressed concerns.

Given that you qualify with the date but not the Wi-Fi Ratings, you can become eligible if you get it to reach 10 Wi-Fi ratings. People here will give a "Positive" Wi-Fi rating much more often than negative. So, you would need to scramble. But it's not impossible for you to do this.

It is approximately 12:10 p.m. ET. The remaining time is just under nine [9] hours.
