If I get a Wii U this is the first game I'm getting when it comes out next year. The graphics are stunning, the anti-gravity is really cool, and it's just a great buy.

It's really interesting how you'll have the ability to ride upside down on the courses. The Wii U should make it more interesting with the GamePad. What do you think the GamePad will be for?

I almost forgot about Smash Brothers! So looking forward to both games. If I happen to get a Wii U for Christmas, I'll buy Mario Kart 8. The idea of "8" is stupid, but the game looks very promising.
What else would Nintendo name it? Mario Kart U? That doesn't sound a whole lot better.
I'm absolutely hyped! Even more now with the return of baby Luigi! <3

Male Villager for Mario Kart World!
BABY DAISY RETURNS!? OMG!!! After 5 years (6 years actually, 5 years because she was confirmed to return this year) of waiting for her to return, she makes a comeback! She was my favorite character to play as when I was like 10. Lets also not forget the Waluigi fans, he returns too. I also want a new character in the game. I'm thinkin Magikoopa. Baby Daisy is not the reason I wanna play Mario Kart 8. Wait. Bikes return!? WHEELIE TIME!!!

But skipping from Mario Kart DS/Wii to Mario Kart 7 is weird. Where are the 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6 versions of it?
I absolutely love how the game is looking so far, but it's on Wii U. :'(
I just don't know if I can get used to playing with a Wii Remote. I love my Gamecube controller.
Same goes for Smash Bros. I just can't imagine having both a Wii and a Wii U.

I imagine the game will easily support Wii U Pro Controller, so that could be a great alternative. If the game supports Wii Remote with Classic Controller, then you can get an adaptor that let you hook your GameCube controller on it. Sounds like a hassle, but that's would be the only option.
The new trailer makes the game a bit more interesting, but I'm still waiting if they're adding more interesting features beside the anti-gravity mechanics, as well of reviews. At this rate, I'll know more about the game via Nintendo Direct around February 2014. Oh, and I will eventually sell Mario Kart 7 while I'm at it.

I don't think it actually is sky garden after looking at it. There's a castle in the background.
