Do any of you guys have trouble choosing a map when you reset? Every time, they have those stupid ponds in the worse places. For example, the pond might be in front of the Train Station, which makes it harder for landscaping. Same with the rocks. I've seen a map where there was a total of 5 ponds! It's really annoying to me, but how do you guys feel about it? Give me your thoughts!

I like maps with little ponds. Ponds take space you could use for hybrid gardens or PWP's.

My map has only one pound (the Re-Tail one)~

I only recently realized that number of rocks/ponds varied haha I got lucky when I picked my map I guess, but I rather like the ponds personally. They're pretty. ( ~-ω-~) Rocks can be annoying though.

I was lucky, I guess, I only have the Re-Tail pond. Though I do have...five rocks. But they're not too obnoxious. I almost forget about them, to be honest.

I like ponds, but not too many. No more than 3 in my towns. Rocks are so annoying though. In Rosewood I have 9 rocks!!!

I personally have never found ponds nor rocks annoying in my town. I have...3? 3 ponds, I think, and several rocks, I forget how many. Regardless, I really don't see how rocks interfere with anything really, to be honest.

I didn't really think about ponds when I first started the game. I have three, and only one of them is potentially in the way. It's not like I can build anymore PWPs anyway, so it's not bugging me too much.

I only have 3 ponds, but they are in good areas so I'm not too mad about it! But I hate rocks... I have six, good thing they're not in terrible places

I didn't reset for my map, I have a pond right in front of my train station.
I used to hate it SOOOO much but now I've made a forest around the station and the pond is surrounded by trees, so you don't see it when you arrive and when you walk through the forest it actually looks reall lovely.

I think ponds can be really nice for landscaping if they're in decent spots. Rocks are the worst, though. Especially since you can't see them when you preview the layouts. But I reset my town so many times before I was happy with it, and even now as I'm working on the layout I find things that I wish were different (pond and rock locations mostly). I usually just make a list of requirements I must have before accepting a town (fruit type, location of main buildings like the town hall, retail and square, river shape, etc). If I manage to get one or more of those in a layout, I'll keep it and work around any imperfections. I was really lucky with my current layout, though: it had every single one of my pre-requirements!

Ooooh, I'd love to see that!

My town has three pounds. One of them are in a somewhat annoying spot but it's not bad enough for me to reset my town.

My map has 4 ponds and they don't bother me too badly. I got this map before I knew that having as few ponds as possible was better. I think my cycling only has two though.

only have two ponds and they surround retails lol
luckily the rocks don't interfere that much with the paths but yeah. i'm pretty happy about my map :')

I have one pond and only 5 rocks.

I really don't want another pond, my river is long enough... I do however want a few more rocks. I think they look nice!
