I have 2 narrow strips of land on top of my map like Silvery's. Bunnie (original villager), Eunice and Diana live on the left side strip and I have a zen temple area on the right side strip. I wanted a map with a windy river, so the narrow strips of land are bound to happen. I don't mind them.
I don't know what I'm going to do with it.I wanted to put my second character's house in the middle of it but it's too small. If a hammock can fit in that space I'll probably put one there,if not I'll decorate it with plants.
Normally I would avoid these narrow strips of land, but I just started a new town this week, and ended up with a great map that unfortunately does have two narrow strips of land adjacent to the railroad tracks.
One is on the left, above my private beach. I'd like to put some PWPs there (maybe an outdoor chair and picnic blanket?) if they would fit. If not, then just a fruit forest.
The other one is on the right and ends at the cliff. Lolly and Rodeo live there so that is enough for that strip.
I have a small strip on the right of my map, and I quite like it!! I put a tower and video screen there, so that when you look across the river you can see them
My boyfriend's town is laid out like that! He has a narrow strip of land to the left. He has it filled with flowers right now but I was thinking of planting some trees there for him. I think it would look nice! I don't think it takes away too much from his town. His river runs pretty straight from that point so he still has a lot of empty space for PWP and the like! I just finished getting him all the villagers he wanted. Well, most. I wanted him to have Ankha and Bam haha. But now I can focus more on helping him landscape now that everyone's houses are placed.
