Just wondering what everyone thinks of maps with narrow strips of lands (vertical or horizontal)?
Do you like them or dislike them? Does your map have them? If yes, how did you landscape those small areas? If no, what would you do with them? Feel free to share some pictures or landscaping tips!
I personally don't mind them. I have two small horizontal strips of land at the top of my map (my river is kind of shapped like a U). Both of those areas have a path lined with flowers that leads to the end of the map (ocean on the left, wall/cliff on the right). I put a lighthouse on the left and am planning on putting a windmill on the right. And maybe add a cedar forest... I haven't quite finished landscaping those areas so I won't post pictures yet, but hopefully it'll look nice when I'm done.
