Mapping a town (in excel?)

Hey guys,

I'm thinking of making an excel map of my town to help with landscaping. I know some people have done it, does anyone have any tips?

I've been trying to find out the rough dimensions of the New Leaf towns, I've only managed to find old threads speculating that the dimensions are 5x4 acres of 16x16. Can anyone confirm this?

Yep all of those are correct I've done the excel for my town quite recently. I suggest using a couple of fruits as markers
