Manual save with multiplayer?

In New Leaf you could save the game while people were over in case someone got a good fish or bug. Now with auto save we can’t seem to do that... We’ve lost many a fish haul thanks to this....

Has anyone found a way to force save when in multiplayer?

Nope, Im in the same boat as you. I had 2 friends over the other day to hunt for a coelacanth in the rain, and when I caught one, I sent them home so the game could save (then they came back). Thats the only way I know of to manually save, which is such a hassle!

The only way we can save rn is if someone leaves or comes back... kinda sucks. I've been in the same boat as you many times.
