Male to female ratio in your town?

I am currently at 7 gals, 3 guys. My town has always had a very strong male contingent, but the women have suddenly taken over! What about you and do you have a preference?

Currently I have five dudes and five gals. I don't much have a preference as long as I have one of each personality type, which I currently don't so I'm switching out villagers.

My problem is with the normals! I have 3 in my town right now, and while one of them is moving soon, the other I want to get rid of has NEVER EVER asked to leave in the 5 months she's been here and I'm going to go crazy if she doesn't leave soon! I don't mind them leaving since I find normals to be rather boring. I have no peppies or snooties currently so I'm trying to get those in. I recently got a smug, so I'm warming up to that personality type ><

I would like a 5-5 ratio or 6 boys and 4 girls (since my mayor is another girl), but since I'm planning to make a 2nd male character 5-5 will eventually be the best. The thing is that the personalities I want doubles of most are lazies and crankies, which will immediately mean I'll have 6 boy villagers. I'm not sure if/how I'm going to 'solve' that yet, but I will just see how it turns out.

Since I'm obsessed with the Lazy, Smug and Cranky personality, 80% of my town is male. And the females in my town are normals because that's the only female personality I like in the game.

Six females and four males. My original plan was to have five females and five males, but when I was campsite resetting I decided I wanted Molly as my tenth villager and thus I ended up with six females. ^_^

Ideally I would've like 5 male and 5 females villagers but my love for lazies skew my ratio towards males. If we could have 12 or 14 villagers then my ratio would be much more even.
