Making a dress

How do you unlock a dress design and tanktop design in your patterns? Its nice and all to download others designs but I can't show these and all I have now is a t-shirt, umbrella, painting and a hat!
So what do I have to do!

Hey Tink! Sadly I dont think that there are any real designs for tanktops and dresses, its only what you get at the start of the game. Do you have the QR code machine yet? I can teach you a way to get a tank top design by making your own by copying another design.
Whaaaaaat!! I'll always be stuck with t-shirts?? :| I hate t-shirts.. its random what you get?? I'd like to learn how to make a tanktop atleast though

I believe in coffee.
If you talk to Mable and select "Make a pro design" you will give her 500 bells she'll let you design either a shirt, a dress, or a hat and will give you sleeve options for the shirt of dress - tank, short or long sleeved. Also, it will let you design the front and back and sleeves independently of each other.
