Main Street Question

So about a week ago, I discovered a new villager on my Main Street that never lived on my town. Her name is Deena and she is a duck. I know that old villagers and current villagers will visit the main street, but I did not know about villagers that never lived in your town being on your Main Street. Does this happen to anyone else, and do you know why this happened?

never happen to me and I don't know why that villager is there.

I did see that happen, I had Shari, a monkey, despite her never in my town. I guess sometimes rarely it happens.

Hmm ... are you friends with anyone you know that has Deena as a villager? Maybe friends villagers can come visit your mainstreet? ☆

This is really weird. I can't say I've had this happen before. Even with all the times I time traveled and moved villagers in and out, I've never seen ones that never lived in my town. Either that, or I just never noticed. Very weird.

I did see that once, but it was because I had never let anyone move out of my town, and I visited a friends town and their villager showed up to shop in my Main Street (but it was a local friend not an internet one). At least I think that is what happened. After I started making all my villagers move out, they went away and Main Street filled up with all of my old villagers.

I heard that a villager that has never been in a town before will very rarely appear on Main Street.

Yes, this is very normal! As your main street and town develops, you will gain more outsider visitors whom you have never had before. Guess it makes the whole city part of it more believable.
