main room decoration ideas?

i have 2 floors and i know what i'm doing with my second floor room. however, i decided i didn't like the regal set and took it out of my main room. i really want to do a mixture of sets and have a room that is a collection of sets and items. any ideas/sets/furniture that go together?
btw i'm doing a greenhouse for my next room upgrade so please don't suggest it !

Maybe mix Cabana stuff with some sailor themed stuff, with a boat-like wallpaper/flooring. Sort of like a luxury cruise liner look.

Find or make a fun pattern ( or use a clothing design). Have the pattern refurbished on a set that you really like. You could use cabin, polka dot, Alpine, etc. Try mixing other sets with it, and try different walls and floors. I like making my second floor a bedroom. You could also make an attic, library, office or game room. Alpines one of my favorites. It looks great with a custom design and goes well with most furniture sets.

Another idea is a kids room. The kiddie set can be refurbished with patterns on the table, chairs and bed. Theres a lot of cute qr codes online. Maybe a cute bear pattern. ( just an example).
