I'm Kaity. welcome to my cycling thread and town of Lunaire! all villagers are given away for free on a first-come first-serve basis. c:​

here?s the dealio: Lunaire Cycling is a place where every villager is given away for free to a good home! a place where dreamies come true. the important part is doing this fairly, so I?m going to set up the process for doing so.

1. THERE WILL BE NO SELLING OR TRADING THESE VILLAGERS FOR BELLS AFTER RECEIVING THEM. you can certainly swap them for other villagers or void them if you really want to, but perpetuating this capitalism over digital kid?s game pixels is dumb. I?d rather just make people happy through giveaways.
2. you can set up trades with me! I want this village to see many residents so anyone can be easily adopted, so if you want one villager but need a space to dump another, then I?ll be the dumping grounds.
3. read all rules and instructions!
4. if you have any suggestions at all, send me a pm or reply here! I don?t bite and I want this thread to go as efficiently as possible.
5. I can?t think of anything else right now, but I do reserve the right to change the rules and cancel trades, and I will make a post if any changes do occur in the future.

so you want to adopt someone from Lunaire? I won?t make it too complicated!

1. as soon as I announce that a villager has moved in, you may reserve them. send me a pm or reply here with the villager you?d like!
2. I will move down the list of reservations when the villager is in boxes!
3. I will move down to the next reservation if I don?t get a reply from you within 5 hours.
4. I am willing to hold a villager for a maximum of 5 hours if you reply and cannot currently pick them up!
5. tier 5 (list here) villagers will be automatically voided unless reserved/asked for. They will be marked with the + symbol.
6. villagers in tiers 1 & 2 (list here) will require dreamie proof. they will be marked with the * symbol!

If you rather not hold villagers for a long period of time, you don't have to for me =) But if you're willing to send me a PM, you can try to see if I react within your 5 hour limit, or otherwise just move on ^-^

Just a tip, I'd ask for photo dreamie proof for all Tier 1 villagers and many people just (text) add them in to their siggy so they can sell them off later!

Okay, I probably seem dense but I really don't understand your message. :c I can definitely add photo proof of my villagers, but there's no risk involved since I'm giving every villager away for free. I also don't understand the bit about adding a list to my signature. D: or are you saying other people sell them off? I'm so confused wow

dreamies are the term used for someone's top 10 villagers (their "dream" villagers"). There's a big list ranking each villager by popularity here on these forums that people use to determine how valuable a villager is. This list is further divided into tiers. The tier 1 villagers are super super popular and people are usually willing to pay 30+ million bells for them. The tier 5 villagers are not popular at all and in most cases no one even wants them. (Not everyone goes off of this popularity list, but some use it as a very strict guide for pricing.)

When people are doing cycling give-aways like this, they will often ask that people show proof that a tier 1 villager is really their dreamie. This proof can be a picture in a signature, links to posts of them previously looking for that villager, etc. The reason for this is that someone can come along and claim "ooh I want that tier 1 villager, they are my favorite~!", but then turn around and sell them for a huge profit in another thread afterwards.

Since this is your giveaway, it's your call. If you don't mind if someone may sell someone later, that's fine. A lot of people frown upon that though and it's why they ask for dreamie proof. They would rather their villager go to a home that will love them and keep them. Not turn around and try to sell them for a huge profit.

Dreamy proof... Really, I don't have any proof other than my profile, so I'll work on that. I saw a signature with pixel art villagers holding hands, so I think I'll find out where that came from
