i have both and i definitely prefer beau... he's my favourite in the entire game too. lucky was my fav in ww before i met beau in nl though ;v;

And Beau is soooo cute, I have him in my town and ugh <333 His eyes are actually adorable. They look sleepy and lazy, not like he's high or anything at all?

He's always sleeping on tree stumps and just ugh he's so adorable. I'd really recommend him, especially if you're getting bored with Lucky.

I dunno what it was about Lucky, I wanted him to be neighbors with Ankha (which if you visit my dream address they are), but I just can't seem to find any sort of connection with the little guy.

This is why I got Lucky, to match with Ankha. While I do like him...I prefer Beau. Beau is in my second town and he's just sooo adorable <3 and precious.

Yeah, it happens. Some villagers you just don't click with/can't seem to get attached too.

And I'd personally go for Beau anyway. He. is. too. precious. <3 His sleepy look suits his lazy personality so, so well. I just got him and he has fast become one of my fave villagers. Love this adorable deer to bits.

I'd choose Beau. I remember seeing him in the first town I went to and thinking how cute he is. If you're not hugely attached to Lucky, I'd say you might need to find someone you like better.
