I was interested in learning how to do this a while back (along with being able to remember more of my dreams, seeing as I never do), so I'm going to start trying again. So, I'll be updating this thread with progress. Feel free to try on your own and post here about it.

What is lucid dreaming? For those of you who don't know.

I get into it sometimes.

But I bore of it quickly.

idoser should help.

And a dream journal.

I remember usually 2 dreams a night.

This is so you can live out your sexual fantasies involving Tyeforce in dream-o-vision, isn't it?

I've only had one lucid dream that I recall. O.o

I wish I could have more. :[ It was like a video game.

I've done that before! :D

Actually I lucid dream quite easily, I just never knew what it was called! :P

That's so cool! I didn't know it was so special! :]

Although, I'm usually a very good dreamer anyway. I've never had a nightmare in my life.

I have a dream journal (because I'm just that nerdy) so maybe that's part of it. I've had one since I was seven and I spend like, two hours writing all the details every day through out the day. I've gone through six dream journals... :P

I usually only remember one dream extremely well or I remember two pretty well, or three not so well or 4 very badly. Usually it's two dreams but sometimes I get lucky and I remember that one dream. :]

AHHH I love dreams. Mostly 'cause I can do whatever I want in them, so it's sort of like a double life. In a way. :P

Noone has claimed "the blog tree." I'm surprised. :P

But anyway, I remember trying this a few years back myself. It was hard for me to do. I think managed to do it only once, but it might have been a false LD. You sir, have inspired me to go back and attempt to try it again. :D

Yesterday I had a dream I had a bunny. In case I never told you on my seventh birthday my bunny died. But yeah, now I want another bunny. {:

I've trying to do this for a while now, but to no avail.
I'm getting better at remembering my dreams, though.

A experienced a form of wake-initiated. When you start dreaming, your body paralyzes itself so that you won't hurt yourself in your sleep, but it can happen that you wake up from your dream, while your body is still in your dream state and you can't move. It's very scary and it only lasted for like 3 seconds, but I remember lying in an awkward way and not being able to move my arms and body, only my eyes.

There are two forms of lucid dreams, one very common, and the other not so common. The first one is a dream-initiated lucid dream, I think we've all experienced it once - you are dreaming, and eventually you will realize it is a dream and wake up. The other one is a wake-initiated lucid dream, you are just awake and then you will suddenly go into a dreaming state, but you are not sleeping.

Okay, first night, couldn't remember a dream.

I think I may have dreamed about SpongeBob taking over Japan or something? But I'm not sure if that was just when I was half-asleep.
